Math and Dyscalculia Services

You can count on us

Back to school | Math troubles?

It is that time of year again, schools are starting up, kids are anxious and curious. Who will be my teachers, what will we be doing this year. Some students will have some issues going back to school as they may experience some trouble with math and with the years floating by it didn’t get any easier.

Do your children a favor and check to see if it could be the forgotten learning disability Dyscalculia.

We have some easy and free or low cost tools for you to work with.

You can do our free Dyscalculia Check list, go HERE

Next you can do a grade specific screener via https://dyscalculiascreener.org

Or you can get an online Math and Dyscalculia Screening Test via https://DyscalculiaTesting.com

If all of it shows that your child may have the math learning disability or Dyscalculia, please contact us (drschreuder@dyscalculiaservices.com) and we can arrange for a full assessment and make recommendations for accommodations at school and at home to give them the best opportunity to reach their full potential.

When you think you’ll be ok but you want some support when helping them with home work, consider the “MomsTeachMath” video series with lots of demonstrations and downloadable tools, templates, and games.

For those who want to become a Dyscalculia Tutor themselves we have our online Dyscalculia Tutor Training.

The most important message is to listen to your child and take action now, don’t wait until the problems create math anxiety.
